If you are interested in adopting one of the animals in our care, please consider the following before submitting an adoption application.

  • You must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Adoptions are currently limited within the United States. In some rare cases, Canadian adoptions will be considered.

  • You must be willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment and proper care of the animals for the rest of their life. Cats live on average of 13-17 years and can live to be over 20.

  • Kittens thrive with a feline friend. Preference is always given to adopters who are interested in adopting a pair of kittens or to those with other playful, kitten friendly cats at home.

  • If for any reason, you can no longer care for the individuals you adopted, you must surrender them back to Operation Liberation. You will sign a contract stating this.

  • Be open to keeping in touch with us, as we love to hear updates from adopters!

  • If your application is considered, you will be contacted to set up a meet and greet (virtual or in person). This helps us get to know you more and allows you to get to know those you are interested in adopting. This call does not guarantee that you have been approved to adopt.

  • Florida based adopters must be willing to pick their adopted animals up or meet with us. Out of state transports are available for an additional fee. Options will be discussed with approved applicants. Adoption fees range, but are typically $150-$200 per cat. Every cat will receive the following care prior to adoption:

  • Spay/neuter surgery

  • At least two FVRCP vaccines and a rabies vaccine if age appropriate

  • Testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV

  • Treatment for internal and external parasites

  • Microchip with free lifetime registration through FoundAnimals.Org

  • Any other necessary care (emergency care, wound care, treatment of infections/illnesses, enucleation surgeries, etc.)

We try to get back to each interested adopter, however, given the volume of requests we often receive, we may not get back to you if you are not being considered. We will be in touch with potential adopters via email to discuss next steps. Please only submit an adoption inquiry if you are serious about adopting and have read the above information.
